Um...there's this song from Naruto (don't know if it's from the last movie or what), when Naruto and Sakura sing all the different jutsu they can come up with. Shikamaru is back-up, since his voice actor is an actual singer and good at it...the thought of Shikamaru singing though just cracks me up.

I actually sketched all of this (except for Sakura...I only got to start on her) in Contemporary Art, and I did a outfit design sketch first too. Made it rather quick! I hope to scrap this at some point and make a nice version, but who knows when that'll happen...as I type this, I should be working on my VisCom. HEH.

The hardest part of this sketch...? Sakura's outfit was hard to come up with. Shikamaru was surprisingly easy. I was picky about what exactly Naruto would wear and how I would alter his hair since I have another joke coming up with him in an outfit pretty similar...so I wanted this to look different but still look like his 12-13 year old version. Which is hard, with that hair. The hardest part was still making them look around 12-13 years old. Shikamaru is getting close to looking too old, but Naruto even with that hair managed to look right. I think anyway. :)

Also, theoretically... since it's an ondo, they should probably be wearing kimonos and the like... but oh well *^.^*;;

YES! WOW, you actually detected my subtle humor, that's awesome! I didn't even mention it in my info on the pic. I figured it would have to be that way. XD Shikamaru wouldn't want to even move, Sakura would want to be a gentle meek looking singer even though she isn't, and Naruto would need a mic, b/c we all know he wouldn't be able to hold still. :D LOL

:XD: Way too true. I'm surprised they would even be able to make him sing. Must be easy for him and/or they promised to leave him alone afterwards. ^_^

Why do I have the feeling Gaara would be here somewhere hitting that loud drum I hear in this song?

Nah. Even the way Naruto Ondo sounded...even with the pop music sound and whatnot was still a little traditonal sounding, but I didn't draw them that way. So, whatever works for you, right? :D
